IN MY DAY, OPINIONS WERE FACTS

Back in my day, an opinion wasn’t just an opinion, it was the truth, delivered from a recliner with absolute authority and zero supporting evidence. Those were the days.

Now everyone wants “sources” and “facts” and “a basic grasp of the topic.” In my time, you simply believed something hard enough and it became real. It was a simpler, dumber, more confident era.

This rant has gone viral, which I take as proof that I am correct, which is how proof works, in my day.
