BITCOIN REVEALED AS ELABORATE PRANK

The anonymous creator of Bitcoin has resurfaced briefly to reveal that the entire cryptocurrency was, in fact, an elaborate prank that got wildly out of hand.

“It was a joke. A whitepaper I wrote to mess with my friends,” the creator reportedly said. “I can’t believe you fell for it. I can’t believe there are conferences now. I’m so sorry.”

The creator then vanished once more, leaving behind a global financial ecosystem and a single laughing emoji.
