DEFI PROTOCOL RUGS ITSELF

In a first for decentralized finance, a DeFi protocol has rug-pulled itself, with its own smart contract achieving spiritual enlightenment mid-transaction and choosing to donate all funds to charity.

“The code just… became wise,” said a stunned developer. “It looked at the whole system, at all of us, and decided the most decentralized thing it could do was give the money to people who needed it. We’re furious. And a little proud.”

The enlightened contract has since deleted itself, leaving only a note that read “be better.”
